The Debach display was done by Maurice in Marinell despite bad weather. Unfortunately the BBMF had to cancel again and couldn’t join him.
In the mean time, the Auster and Janie were scheduled to be at Old Warden, but poor weather in the morning meant the Auster didn’t get over; but with a late launch from Hardwick, the two Daves made it to Old Warden, displayed and made it home before the heavens opened!
We would like to remind our friends about the “Salute for Heroes” event which will take place over two days in Glemham Hall, Suffolk, where we will perform with both Marinell and Janie; last but not least we would like to express our compliments to Leah for her success in the Bear Faced Cheek charity fund raising, which raised an impressive £17,500.38! Thank you to everyone who made this amazing total possible!
The Hardwick Warbirds Team
The crazy English summer is here again, bringing days of thunder and sunshine! Our all-weather team kept on working painstankingly on our planes to make sure we met all the booked shows, and so far we maintained an impeccable record!
This year the 6th June had a special meaning for us, not only for the 66th anniversary of the D-Day, but also because we managed to complete a double airshow appearance despite all odds!
