For those of you who still haven’t seen it, we would like to share with you the exclusive video interview above. The mystery of how 'Marinell' got her name came to light in the winter of 2010. We were delighted that Mary Anella Stokes-Shuffleton, aged 87, visited us at Hardwick on June 19th. Mary shared memories, pictures and her charming presence with all the team and we sincerely hope to have her as our guest again next year!

Season finale!

Our poppy drop in November with the Auster will be

the last performance of the 2011 season, which we

are proud to say was another successful one. It’s now

time for the maintenance routines, but before that

the Team at Hardwick Warbirds would like to thank all

of the friends who came to see us, both at the open

days and at the airshows: once again we sincerely

hope that you enjoyed the airshow season as much as

we did!
